Portfolia's Rising America Fund (Portfolia's 8th Fund) invests in early stage and growth companies in the U.S. led by people of color or LGBTQ founders. It is the first fund of its kind to be led by world-class lead investors who are Latinx or African-American women.

After the acquisition of my startup, SuperData, by Nielsen, I kept hearing how rare it is for a black female founder to exit. My goal in mentoring other female founders of color is to make news about our funding and exits commonplace.

I co-founded and ran SuperData Research, the top video game research firm, from inception through acquisition by Nielsen in 2018. SuperData served all the top game publishers, video game market investors, and key industry stakeholders. As COO, I navigated SuperData through explosive growth, an oversubscribed Series A round, and acquisition. At acquisition, SuperData's employee and client retention were both over 95%.
