Assisted in PGCert Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) Training Competency Assessments by playing the role of a patient presenting a common mental health difficulty for the trainees to conduct an initial assessment therapy session with. As this is in line with my career interest, it provided me with deeper insights into how therapy sessions work and how different actions and engagements by the PWPs will lead to different outcomes.

Assisting the trainee clinical psychologist on psychology research testing the effectiveness of Behavioural Activation as a treatment for low mood in adolescents with acquired brain injury. Contributed to literature reviews as well as data collection with qualtrics and translating data for data analysis.

Provided support to vulnerable adults going through a period of change such as coping with mental health conditions or being discharged from professional support services; helped clients create action plans to set and achieve personal goals in order to develop their skills, confidence, and coping strategies.

Appointed as the Social Secretary for INTO Exeter Society for the AY2020-2021. Responsible for curating enjoyable and inclusive social events, including backup plans in case of non-physical meetings due to the COVID pandemic, and being the point of contact for events in collaboration with other societies. Ensured that the society benefitted international students who required additional support in their first year at university.
