As a passionate software developer and entrepreneur with a serious sweet tooth, I’m on a mission to make sure no one has to waste a craving—introducing The Sugar.I’m currently developing The Sugar, an app designed for sugar lovers—yes, that’s you! The app empowers sweets enthusiasts to find the perfect sweet treat nearby, wherever they are. But it’s more than just a search tool—The Sugar creates a community of self-avowed sweets lovers who help one another discover and share the best sweet spots. No more showing up in a new town and wondering, “Where’s the best shop for chocolate truffles around here?” Plus, The Sugar will make it easy to send that perfect sweet gift across the country.As the lead developer, I am also directly responsible for hands-on UX/UI design for The Sugar, using tools like Figma to design user flows and prototypes that ensure the best possible user experience. I’m building the app using the Flutter framework, Dart language, and Firebase database.I’m eager to connect with fellow entrepreneurs, developers, and investors to grow The Sugar and create a global community for sugar lovers.In addition to my work on The Sugar, I serve as Treasurer and am on the Board of Directors for Bend Biomedical, a non-profit organization, where I am designing their website and advising on organizational strategy.
