-Managing a team of designers and writers to produce print-to-digital resources for KitchenAid in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This includes implementing input from translators, engineers, marketers, and legal and codes experts to meet international standards for product usability and communication in both web and print formats.-Working with IT and design departments to design and implement websites, eCommerce and mobile applications for international corporate clients, including Whirlpool and Bissell. This involves designing user research plans; implementing appropriate usability testing and finding recruits to participate; and collaborating on iterations of wireframes, site maps, and other essential UX deliverables as needed to communicate to team members and stakeholders.-Collaborating with engineers, usability experts and marketers to integrate brand standards and user experience principles in all web and print materials that my team designs.

Worked with KitchenAid to adapt and reformat communications including developing standards and style guides. Created brochures, point of purchase materials, web content, instruction manuals, and quick start guides.

-Redesigned Whirlpool laundry instructional materials. -Implemented usability research methods to create an award-winning suite of illustrated literature (installation instructions, use and care manuals, and quick start guides). -Worked with project lead to coordinate and implement adoption of new literature, using in-depth trend research to reduce literature production volumes and overall production costs for Whirlpool.

Coordinated public relations including press releases, story pitches to local media, maintaining Facebook content, and managing internal communications.

-Served as the primary criminal reporter for Hancock County, IN. Covered murders and the resulting trials, a multi-state price-fixing scandal, and the F.B.I. arrest and trial of an Iraqi intelligence agent. Traveled with Hancock County Sheriff's Department to cover their assistance in rescue and recovery efforts following Hurricane Katrina.-Served as a reporter for all charitable organizations and cultural activities. Covered the Boys and Girls Club, the Humane Society, Autism Awareness of Greenfield, Hancock Area Rural Transit, and the United Way. Covered community efforts, including Race for the Cure, locally based fundraisers for area cancer patients, mental health awareness issues, and efforts to expand the county Women and Children's Shelter.-Served as a reporter for the Greenfield-Central Community School Corporation, including school board issues, faculty and staffing changes, student government and community service organizations, and special events. Collaborated on an award-winning series covering the expansion of the Greenfield-Central Community School Corporation.
