Experience in managing cohort studies at varying stages, ranging from project initial stages like protocol development to data analyses and publication. Such experience has provided me insights to consider crucial elements in every stage of cohort establishment, recruitment, and ethics & governance considerations. The following outlines my involvement: • Contributed to protocol development, submitted amendments and annual reports to Human Research Ethics committee. • Chaired and organised monthly Chief Investigators (CI) and team meetings.• Established strong working relationships with various supporting departments, such as pathology service, biobank, shipping, purchasing, legal, ethics, and media.• Oversee participant recruitment and contact.• Managed various types of data collection (questionnaires, biological samples, anthropometric measurements) for internal and external collaborators.• Developed forms and sent out questionnaires using REDcap database system.• Oversee data management and data requests from internal and external collaborators.• Extracted variables required using REDCap, and merged with other datasets using STATA and R Studio• Extracted DNA from biological samples for genome-wide and gene-specific epigenetic data generation.• Analysed gene-specific, and genome-wide epigenetic data using STATA and/or R Studio.• Contributed to manuscripts, review and publications. • Presented results in national and international conferences.
