Committee member for Ayrshire Business Women on a voluntary basis. I was social media and marketing lead, which involved engaging with current members, advertising for new members, marketing the events and supporting the committee on fundraising and event organisation. I also ran workshops on using social media.

After selling the business to Cottages.com (Awaze), I continued to work in the business and run and manage the Arran office. My role involved the following duties:- Maintaining the strong relationships with the property owners to ensure they remained with the business after the sale- Responsible for the property management and letting services of circa 80 properties to ensure all properties are well maintained and ready for guests- Managing and organising the operations of the local office and a team of 7 employees, ensuring all tasks are completed in the timescales provided- Recruited 30 new properties to our portfolio in line with business targets using Salesforce as the CRM tool- Provide excellent customer service to our customers and assist and coach the team in resolving any customer issues to encourage repeat custom- Collate all details for setting up new properties, including website write up, taking photographs and ensuring all details are accurate before being live on the website for booking- I won an award for Regional Office Manager of the Year against 7 other regional managers in 2019.

The Arran Team is a property management and holiday letting company. My husband and I bought it as a property management company then expanded it to include advertising and bookings. During this time I worked with over 100 property owners, managing their accounts and ensuring strong relationships were built to retain custom.- Expanded the business by introducing an advertising and booking service to coincide with the property management service already offered, which increased revenue by 275% over 7 years and team increased from 2 - 7 employees.- Streamlined our services structure from 7 to 3 to be more cost effective and efficient.- Recruited new properties to our portfolio, including website write up, property staging, photographs and ensuring all details are accurate before being live on the website.- Developed processes for all operational tasks including health and safety, housekeeping and maintenance to ensure regulations and standards were met.- Designed and developed the annual brochure of the properties with a circulation of 1500 copies.- Developed key communication processes for building relationships with our property owners and guests to encourage repeat business and retained custom.
