At Langara I teach Operations Management; Organizations and Change; and Organizational Behaviour at undergraduate and post degree levels.

I teach a course on Innovation and Creativity for SFU's Part Time MBA program.

Provide classroom support for a number of Operations Management MBA and Exec MBA courses run by Simon Fraser University and by Erasmus University in The Netherlands.+ Grade student assignments and reports.+ Provide specific written feedback for each report.+Check work for plagiarism.+Compile and report on grades for each class.

With CPROST my role was varied and included:The Leonardo Summer Institute+ I organised this series of workshops offering Faculty of Applied Sciences PhD students interdisciplinary perspectives on the socio-economic context of their academic work. +Planned lecture schedule, identifying and inviting suitable lecturers, and arranging field visits to Teck coal mines, TRIUMF at UBC, and the Kamloops Centre for Water Quality+ Member Innovation and Competitiveness Network (InnoCom)– This is one of four sub-networks of the Innovation Systems Research Network (ISRN).+ I authored research proposals and conference papers and presented at conferences and symposia.+ In November 2005, I organised an InnoCom Conference at Kananaskis Study Lodge, Alberta.

+ Co-ordinated the establishment of two newly funded research centres at SFU Business: the Centre for Strategic Change and Performance Measurement and the Centre for Corporate Governance.+ This work involved developing reports identifying the communications needs of the Centres and providing detailed documents planning the development of the website content.+ It also involved writing some of the website content and editing work provided by others.

As a Research Fellow, at the Cranfield School of Management Complex Systems Management Centre, I worked principally as Research Co-ordinator of NEXSUS, a publicly funded inter-disciplinary research network bringing together six research projects across five universities.+ The Centre focused on applying complex systems thinking and ideas to management problems and situations. My research applied these ideas to a number of industries including garment manufacturing, fabric manufacturing, the British National Health Service and the pharmaceutical industry.+ I authored and co-authored a number of journal papers, book chapters, conference papers and research proposals for funding. + I also developed and delivered a number of executive education seminars.+ I served as Research Co-ordinator for one of the key projects at the Centre, the NEXSUS Priority Network, a publicly funded research network bringing together six research projects across five universities.+ I planned and managed the inter-disciplinary aspect of the network research, and produced reports for the network, and for the funding body, the UK’s ESRC.+ Translated and disseminated research findings and knowledge through publishing, lecturing and executive education.+ Developed research proposals for research projects.+ Communicated research strategy and directions to other NEXSUS partners.+ Planned and ran regular workshops with NEXSUS partners, intended to develop the inter-disciplinary aspect of the research.
