Hello and welcome to the first step of bettering your body! Founder's Story: Since beginning this journey, I have met many people that I find have been experiencing some of the same ailments. I once thought I was alone, now I know many other people are searching for answers much like I once was. Enjoy!Consumers are beginning to realize the unhealthy and harmful ingredients in many of the products we use every day. My mother took it upon herself to make sunscreen that would be safe to put on my sons. Once the sun went down, I would shove dryer sheets in my son's pants to save him from bug bites. I didn't feel comfortable putting lotions or sprays on this itty-bitty baby that contained ingredients that I can't even pronounce! To be honest, the dryer sheets are not much better.Soon after Baby Two's arrival that "off" feeling reared its ugly head. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease, MTHFR Gene Mutation, Factor V Leiden, and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). I began working as my own advocate for bettering my endocrine system. That is when I started looking at my diet and the personal care products I put on my body every day.I decided to attend some health meetings, food classes and body improvement seminars. The one thing that caught my attention: How am I treating the largest organ of my body? MY SKIN! The application of soaps, shampoos, deodorants (sometimes multiple times a day) onto this organ directly impacts a number of things on the outside as well as the inside of your body!With the multiple Endocrine diseases I had been recently diagnosed with, I knew I had to change the products that my family was using. I worked hard to find the right recipe and have not looked back. I began looking into other products that would be great and responsible for my family. I hope to continue to reach people and to educate about being your body's best advocate. Your body will thank you!
