It is listed on the ASX (HLO) and has a TTV (total transactional value) of $4.9 Billion (AUD)Jane was the first woman appointed as a non-executive director to the Board, adding expertise in consumer, digital, brand and international to the business. She sat on the Remuneration / Nomination Committee. With the subsequent merger with the AOT Group, Jane stepped off the board.

Pacific Bioscience invented the Sonicare toothbrush, which was sold to the Phillips Group in the early 2000’s. Subsequent to selling to Philips, they created a device called Clarisonic (www.clarisonic.com).Jane was nominated by the early stage Private Equity investor (www.rosewoodcap.com) as their Board appointee. Jane joined the Board just as there was a voluntary product recall and was heavily involved in the interface, reporting and governance associated with it. Initially the business t/o was $15M USD. However, the business grew dramatically over the subsequent years. Led the buying team in late 2005 to purchase the heavily loss-making Stila brand from the Estee Lauder Group of Companies in New York. The first year was spent extracting the business from Estee Lauder and reinvigorating its growth and profitability. The business operated in 14 countries around the world and significantly grew across all major countries. Brought the business to break-even within the first year.

Initiated a dramatic turn-around of the business. Core business grew by 80%; 3 fragrances positioned in the Top 10 in Australia. Won Launch of the Year from AdNews and awarded Director of the Year by JML / Macquarie Bank.

Founding CEO for Asia Pacific. Took the Australian operation from scratch to launch in 4 months after which it quickly became cash-flow positive.

Sales & Marketing Director MSN.Subsequently founding Director of Ninemsn Australia, the JV between Microsoft and PBL. Ninemsn became the leading web presence in Australia within 4 months of launch.
