As Associate Director of Internships, I increased experiential educational opportunities for Randolph-Macon students by focusing on alumni employer relationships. All students were given the opportunity to engage with alumni in a variety of settings as a result of increased recruitment efforts of alumni volunteers.

• Successfully managed multiple alumni events designed to promote the College’s historic fundraising goal of $100M. • Recruited and trained a corps of key volunteers including reunion volunteers, regional alumni volunteers, and special initiative volunteers in an effort to increase alumni engagement and ultimately increase in annual giving; for FY12, giving to the Annual Fund reached an all-time record and alumni participation was the highest in 19 years, at 38%.• Successfully managed and supported all Macon Women Macon Connections alumnae networking programs in support of the College’s 40th anniversary of co-education and the alumnae philanthropic initiative resulting in increased attendance at all Richmond Macon Women Macon Connections events and the establishment of the Tidewater area Macon Women Macon Connections group.• Outreach to alumnae through personal visits and special events resulting in an overall alumnae giving increase of 32% for FY12.• Worked closely with the Center for Personal and Career Development in identifying alumni volunteers to assist with internship opportunities and career mentoring for current students.• Reinstated Legacy program for current students, resulting in an increase in alumni engagement from Legacy parents during FY12.• Collaborated with various academic departments, admissions and athletics in an effort to engage alumni in the life of the college. • “Face of the College” to the most senior and supportive alumni group, The Boydton Society (50th reunion and older alumni) through personal visits and special reunion events.
