As the Project Manager, I was responsible for the planning and implementation of infrastructure and services to ensure service delivery capability is in line with contractual requirements for Australian Federal Police (AFP) Health Services Contract in multiple locations in Papua New Guinea.

Manages groups of energetic students, delivering planned lessons that seek to challenge students and see them reach their full potential, including delivering lessons outside of my area of expertise on a regular basis.

As the hospitality manager, I was responsible for project managing the opening of a new venue to include requirement analysis, specification, development, testing and implementation. Key Achievements: • Gained exposure to all stages of the project lifecycle, including project management, requirement analysis, system design, specification, development, testing and implementation.

Functional responsibilities included policy development, strategic and operational planning, high level resource management, international liaison, stakeholder management, risk management and organizational development. DEFENCE RECRUITING SERVICES – General Manager (Company Commander). Responsible for recruiting operations, public relations, training, interviewing, stakeholder liaison, promotional events, workplace safety and management reporting. Led teams of up to 100 staff, including authoring the business plan, communicating the plan to the team, determining priorities, setting team goals, allocating resources, monitoring day to day work activities and authoring management reports. Gained exposure to a broad spectrum of recruiting and human resources practices that are directly transferable. Oversaw an expert team delivering shop front customer service, responding to walk in enquiries and providing advice on careers face-to-face, in writing and by phone. Screened, interviewed and counselled applicants to evaluate their suitability, skills, aptitude, motivation and qualifications for positions in the military, including providing career advice to candidates and parents. Managed local recruiting efforts to ensure recruiting priorities were met, including contributing to development of regional marketing campaigns and conducting road shows. Responsible for the coordination of careers promotion visits to local and regional high schools, careers expos and other promotional activities. Managed an extensive database, ensuring the effective and timely progression of applications. Utilised proprietary online recruiting systems covering all aspects of candidate processing and management, from enquiry to employment confirmation.
