Responsible for the overall performance of the Social Services Program consisting of 11 different contracts/grants providing services for refugee and immigrant individuals and families.Accountable for Social Services Program’s annual operational budget of over $700,000. Oversaw the development of the Social Services Program and its transition to a new office. Managerial accountability for development of 18 staff and program services for clients. Case Management oversight to ensure that staff meets contract performance goals and outcomes. Review contracts, prepare invoices, and ensure the timely delivery of outcomes and other reports. Develop positive working relationships with community partners and funders.

Accountable for quality programs with oversight assistance to 35 programs across the state of Washington. Develop strategic policies and procedures to ensure compliance and collaborate within operational units to integrate activities, provide technical support, and training to ensure programs operate within a framework of continuous quality improvement. Collect and analyze data to demonstrate that programs are in line with strategic direction and to improve quality.

Principal administrator and leader for the 16 programs within the corrections division, serving adult female and male ex-offenders under the jurisdiction of the Federal Bureau of Prisons and the Washington Department of Corrections; also serving youth under the jurisdiction of the Juvenile Justice Rehabilitation Administration and the Office of Refugee Resettlement. Managerial accountability for the development of 350 staff, an annual budget of $16 million, contract compliance, and program services for 3,200 clients annually.

Promoted to Director with operational responsibility for two 24 hour a day state work releases, providing service for up to 72 female and male ex-offenders daily. Led 53 staff, developed program services, ensured program compliance and managed an annual budget of $1.5 million.

Assisted in the operation of the facility, supervising a staff of up to 23 and ensuring the facility had 24 hour shift coverage. Served as Acting Director in the Director’s absence.

Greater Seattle Area

Coordinated, planned and implemented training programs based on the needs of staff and clients. Provided clients with employment resources, referrals and job readiness training to assist them in their transition into the workforce. Provided technical assistance to staff and clients in the area of community partnerships, program governance, program design, conflict-resolution and grievance procedures.
