I work with teens on emotional regulation and creating healthy habits. We practice talking about emotions in a way that helps them manage the highs and lows that they feel. Setting up healthy habits can make the ride a lot more enjoyable in the long run. I also support the adults in their life by having regular check-ins and determining if there are certain needs that they'd like for me to address during our coaching sessions. I enjoy working with teens and feel honored to be a safe place for them to explore their rollercoaster of emotions.

My role was similar to a school nurse. I supported a community of 500+ elementary-aged students and helped clean/bandage them up after injury, supplied ice packs and TLC for bumps to the head, administered daily medications when necessary and cared for students feeling sick, contacting parents for pick-up when necessary. This role allowed me to become a safe space for students to visit my office when they needed support. I also supported the front office with administrative tasks, greeting parents/visitors and backing up where needed.
