In this role, I maintain full commercial responsibility for all locations within the district, which includes central, coastal, and northern parts of California and Nevada. I provide solid leadership, coaching, direction, and resources to build a highly effective and engaged team capable of executing and delivering service levels and profitability for both tactical and strategic initiatives. Northern California

While in this role, I drove district operations and commercial sales teams to deliver production, distribution, and warehousing operations for Univar operations in Northern California, while ensuring optimal efficiency and safety. I administered six direct report managers and 175 indirect employees, while coordinating sales, customer service, supply chain, quality, regulatory, and EH&S contacts to lead transformational change. I was hired to assist company in change management for global chemical distribution company located in Carson facility of total 50 employees and 28 direct reports. One of my key duties was to head western region fleet operations and continuously supported TMS implementation, while supervising and training Class A, Haz-Mat, food grade, Haz-Waste, and package/bulk drivers on compliance and safety. Moreover, I delivered Lean leadership for Carson facility, involving identification/implementation of team meetings for continuous improvements, and systematizing production room operations, production scheduling, shipping/receiving, waste processing, yard flow, and warehouse layout.My key accomplishment during this role are as follows:⇨ Governed key facets of facility’s’ operations by coordinating day-to-day activities with production, shipping, receiving, and administrative teams to meet order fulfilment requirements, while ensuring appropriate workload distribution, staffing, and efficiency.
