Jane Richardson brings extensive HR and legal experience to assist organizations and their employees in effecting successful organizational change. She is dedicated to providing effective career coaching and outplacement services to clients and candidates in a wide variety of industries. Throughout her career, Jane has helped organizations create a culture of employee engagement, and she has seen that an organization’s culture is influenced—either positively or negatively—by how it transitions its team members. Jane began her career as an Attorney in the Corporate Law Department of Amax Coal Industries, Inc. At Amax, Jane became an experienced employment defense attorney, while also serving the organization in corporate, commercial, real estate and technology legal issues. When Amax relocated its corporate headquarters out of state, Jane joined a small law firm to continue her service to corporations in corporate and employment law matters. She also expanded her professional services to a wide array of human resource consulting services. During that time, she provided employers with HR strategic planning, facilitation of equal employment seminars, development of affirmative action plans and corporate-sponsored career transition services.In 2004, Jane became the Vice President, Human Resources and Corporate Responsibility Officer of St.Vincent Heart Center, a freestanding 120-bed cardiovascular hospital in Indianapolis. The hospital had opened a year before Jane’s arrival, and she quickly created the strategy for growing the workforce to achieve critical business results in a highly competitive healthcare environment. Jane quickly established a sourcing and onboarding strategy, selected health and benefit plans, devised compensation, performance management and compliance structures and instituted a leadership development program to make St.Vincent Heart Center a premier employer in the Indianapolis area.Jane has also held executive positions with Salin Bank and Tangram, Inc. Jane has provided consulting services to clients of Career Consultants OI Global Partners since 2013.
