In May of 2008, I started doing business as "Jane Roberts Consulting LLC" with a primary focus on technical and executive recruitment for the chemical and refining industries. Some of the companies that I am currently working with are BASF Chemical, Arkema Chemicals, Sasol North America, Shell, Enterprise Products, Firestone Polymers, Chemtrade Logistics, , to name a few.Having worked more than 25 years in the industry as an HR professional, I also outsource my HR expertise in the way of project work to small and mid-size companies.

Technical and executive placement of personnel for the chemicals, refining and biotechnology industry. Contract staffing is also provided to clients in these industries. Human Resource consulting: Provide a "safety assessment tool" to be utilized in the selection/hiring process of operations and maintenance in the industry. This process is also utilized with current employees to help identify "the human risk element" associated with safety of personnel in the plants. Training to improve safety performance accompanies the process as well.

Managed the HR function at two BASF sites in North America (Beaumont, TX and Port Arthur, TX). One of the sites was a herbicide/pesticide site and the other was a Naptha Cracker and C4 Plant. Managed technical recruitment process for BASF sites along the gulf coast.

Primarily managed recruitment of engineers and other technical professionals for three Huntsman facilities in the Port Neches/Port Arthur, Texas area, with approximately 1200 employees. Also managed other Human Resource activities such as expatriation/repatriation activities.

Human Resource generalist at Texaco Research and Development Corporation in Port Arthur, Texas. Primarily managed the recruitment of engineers and other technical professionals for an R&D facility in Port Arthur, Texas and assisted with the Beacon, NY facility.
