An eager, determined student who is continuously looking to challenge & diversify my current skillset. With comprehensive knowledge in areas of analytical biochemistry, biomolecules, biological chemistry & immunology. Alongside this, I have accumulated a wealth of laboratory experience in the field of biochemistry, including but not limited to fundamentals such as micro pipetting, preparing stock solutions, buffers, and serial dilutions as well as biochemical techniques such as affinity chromatography and western blotting, spectophotometry, and gel electrophoresis.I am looking to further my knowledge of the field, with keen aspirations to work towards a career in toxicology. Furthermore, I am also interested in drug discovery and delivery to increase my understanding in the biological mechanisms behind drug-based interactions.Having undergone placement work at Aston Particle Technologies, I have vastly developed my theoretical knowledge and gained experience in a plethora of pharmaceutical and analytical techniques such as dissolution testing, use of dry particle coating and HPLC. Now with an improved insight in pharmaceutical research, I wish to expand upon this to further my understanding of analytical techniques.

  Having worked in taste-masking with Oral Solid Dosage forms (OSDs), my role comprised of a combination of laboratory and office-based tasks. I have undergone training and experience with a variety of basic lab equipment such as manual pipettes, pH meters, balances as well as more advanced pharmaceutical and analytical equipment including dissolution and disintegration baths, isothermal dry particle coating and HPLC. I also performed routine lab procedures including buffer and standard preparation, calibration, and maintenance of lab equipment. Furthermore, I conducted non-laboratory tasks such as research project work, risk assessment and SOP writing.I primarily worked on an independent project, elements of which were group work and individual, in formulation science involving formulation and compression of tablets, dry particle coating of formulations, dissolution, and disintegration testing of formulations for subsequent HPLC analysis.
