I have worked with the Department of Corrections since 1986. First as a teacher from 1986 to 1996 at the prison in San Luis Obispo, CA. I then promopted as a Vice-Principal from 1996-1998 iat the prison in San Luis Obispo. I promoted to Principal in Fresno from 1998 - 2004 and accepted the promotion to Associate Superintendent over the 12 Central Valley schools from 2004 - 2000. I I then accepted the as the position as interium Superintendent of Correctional Education Programs from 2008 - 2010. I returned to the Associate Superintendent position and then changed to the Associate Superintendent postion as the director of curriculum for all of our 35 schools across California. Prior to that I served as a teacher in public schools and as a travel agent in Texas.
