I served the office of the Chair & Administration as front office staff, answering the phone and greeting customers, handling various clerical tasks, such as distributing mail, faxes, filing, and ordering office supplies. I managed the department calendar and scheduling of the Conference Room. I also assisted HR with various tasks related to the OB-GYN Fellows, and overseeing Medicare and Medicaid Enrollments and Revalidations for the department. I also maintained the Events Calendar section of the department's website.

In addition to running a successful, active troop, I have participated in and organized many group events, classes, lectures, and fundraisers. I organize these events from the ground up which includes budgeting and advertising the events to others.

I served Orange County Schools in many roles during my 11 years of employment. Most recently, I was the eLearning Advisor for all the students taking online classes at Cedar Ridge High School. This involved being the liaison between the actual offsite teacher, the OC student, and the counselor staff at Cedar Ridge. I also managed virtual classrooms using the Apex Learning online school portal. Prior to that I was the front-line greeter for the busy High School office. My main duties included answering the phone and transferring calls to appropriate staff members. I assisted visitors and parents with visitor passes or checking out students as needed. I also managed the Media Calendar and the scheduling of computer labs to teachers and Secondary staff. I was also the back up person when the Media Specialist was out for an extended period of time. I assisted with routine office expectations, such as copying, filing, and mail distribution. Prior to the front desk, I served as a Media Assistant and, before that, as a Teacher Assistant.

During the summer, worked full time as Horsemanship Counselor, teaching horseback riding to summer campers. During the school year, worked part time as Horseback Riding instructor. Responsible for program, curriculum, and budget development in the Horse Program. Recruited, trained, supervised, and evaluated volunteers and summer horse staff.

Dramatically increased sales and merchandise quality of a consignment store offering childrens clothing and accessories. Investigated and implemented computer program to enhance business operations. Managed cash flow, budget, and inventory.

Served as assistant to the Communications Director. Handled emails and phone calls and managed Communications Department accounts in a very fast paced, detail oriented atmosphere. Attended weekly staff meetings and monitored Communications department needs. Clerical duties such as copying, faxing, and filing.
