•Serve as a lead for strategic tasks such as supplier contract and commercial negotiations, point of escalation for supply chain emerging issues, process owner for key continuous improvement efforts, and development of category sourcing strategies together with US counterpart. •Establish strong working relationships with management-level employees from key suppliers.•Work with a sense of urgency when supplier issues arise and lead problem resolution discussions with suppliers to drive immediate containment and corrective action. •Work with SQE to drive short and long-term root cause corrections.Monitor and drive supplier performance for assigned categories to ensure suppliers are meeting Polaris requirements for quality, delivery, and cost.•Collaborate with NPI Leads to guide the supplier selection process for new projects and facilitate early involvement of suppliers in design development. •Supplier import: Settle down payment term, incoterm, logistic, customs clearance issue with new supplier， audit vendor. •Price management: check quotation and maintain in BPM/ SAP system, manage price change. •Share management: base on price/ supply status to adjust allocation. •Supplier management: Join in QBR and meeting to review and improve supplier cooperation. •New material/project introduction: cooperate with related departments to track ECN and update BOM.•Demand /PO management: Weekly release FCST demand and L/T PO to supplier, get supply plan from vendor to meet NPI demand. •Vendor’s delivery schedule management: push vendor to confirm FCST commitment and arrange the shipment base on the delivery schedule. •Inventory management: work with supplier about their product plan to improve the efficiency and reduce excess. •Shortage management: research the shortage reason, demand pull in or vendor de-commit. Track the recovery plan to meet demand. •Excess management: check the excess raw material is unique or not and highlight to sales team to deal with the excess which caused by demand change.•Quality management: Work with RD/ IQC/SQE to solve quality issue.

• Participate in architectural design of NB new products, makes production in best performance. • Review mold problems with Mould Tool Factory and Molding Factory. • Confirm structure of note book, design Mechanism Parts and accessory, contact vendor made samples. • Review vendor’s process in new production development (such as mold, CNC. sputter, spray. print., assemble) • Create BOM and drawing, Upload to system, approve ME parts. • Deal with customer problem, ensure that customer’s requirements are solved as soon as possible. • Solve ESD and EMI test issues. • Solve problems appearing in note book performance test (such as vibration, drop, back pressure, stress) • Confirm the product structure of new project introduction, assist vendor process stability, improve the quality of products. • Solve the problem of production line, change ME parts design if it affects necessary to improve speed and efficiency. • Review PD daily yield report and resolve some quality issue.
