AOCS, a global membership society, advances the science and technology of fats, oils, proteins, and surfactants. In this role, I lead all membership renewal, retention, and recruitment efforts for individual and corporate members. My membership team works with volunteers who lead the 20 membership communities and support the development of numerous programs, including career development, networking events, awards, and webinars. AOCS members are kind, insightful and supportive - what a joy it is to work beside them.

In this role I oversaw the business aspects of AOCS information products (books, journals, magazine) and led the process for developing and implementing new content based on insights from AOCS leaders, global market trends, scientific reports, and other key industry factors.

My job included increasing the engagement of our members and growing NCTE's membership. In addition, I developed relationships with companies for partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations on other projects that would benefit English teachers across the K-16 grade levels.

-Annual meeting sponsorship program coordinator. This program raised over $150,000 in sponsorship and product donations annually-Exhibit sales coordinator -Marketing manager for annual conventions-Survey creation and analysis -Membership coordinator, including corporate, individual, and student memberships-Liaison to Student Affiliate Division of the American Dairy Science Association. Planned two-day conference, wrote newsletters, developed web site, and was the main contact to officers and advisors

Budgeting, board training and development. Main liaison to the Board of Directors and Annual Meeting Local Committee.
