About Janet Cooley
I have served as the Director of Experiential Education at the University of Arizona R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy for over 10 years. I am an Associate Professor and also serve as the Associate Director of Interprofessional Education for the College. I co-coordinator the Preparation for Rotations course and serve as the course coordinator for all of the Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences. I have provided over 50 presentations at the state and national level and have over 25 peer-reviewed publications on a variety of topics from practical topics such as precepting, experiential learning, and interprofessional education to work on professional identity formation and the research impact. I have been recognized with awards locally, at the state level and nationally, including the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy Innovation in Teaching Award. I am interested in preceptor education, interprofessional education, curriculum development and assessment, and the scholarship of teaching and learning.
