About Janet Devine
I am a conscientious person giving great attention to detail and accuracy, which is essential within my role. I have good interpersonal skills, which is reflected both at work and at home. My objective is to ensure all those subject to the Mental Health Act within our Trust are cared for and treated appropriately within this framework. To do this I developed my knowledge by gaining a Masters in Mental Health Law, and now put this into day-to-day practice to support clinicians and other relevant professionals. I also endeavour to keep up-to-date with developments in caselaw and legislation. Being a team manager I am building on my management skills, to support the team to provide an effective and efficient service. My role is a constant learning curve with daily challenges, making it interesting and exciting.I am Group Scout Leader at our local scout group, have been in scouting for over 30 years. I value the skills and friendships that can be gained from this, as well as seeing the young people grow in confidence and attempt new challenges.
