•Review product labels to ensure compliance with government regulations•Provide appropriate documentation required by international distributors to register products with their specific government for the purpose of importing products into their country.•Import Permits

•To review weekly Accounts Receivable aging and address any past due items over their normal payment trend.•Maintain past dues under 10% of total A/R and a turnover of DSO less than 45 days.•Deduction management which includes 48 hour follow-up with the customer and/or sales representative.•Perform annual credit update for all active customers.•Process all new credit applications and review for credit worthiness.•Monitor cash application to ensure all cash receipts are posted accurately and on a timely basis.

•Supervised a team responsible for providing advanced level of customer service for major accounts such as Wal-Mart, Kmart, Petsmart, Petco and grocery/drug chains such as Food Lion, Kroger, etc.•Processed purchase orders transmitted via EDI, as well as verbally and fax.•Participated in Customer Business Teams which included representatives from Marketing, Inventory Management, Sales, Forecasting and Customer Service Departments created to meet the business needs of our major market accounts.•Responsible for Liability Management including deductions related to any, and all claims short paid from remittances.•Visited with customers to establish rapport and keep lines of communication open.
