She received the 2009 Regional CBA of the Year and was recently recognized as the 2012 Regional CBA of the Year and the Florida CBA Impact of the Year Award. Prior to coming to the SBDC, she was a regional planner in economic development at the West Florida Regional Planning Council. There, she managed more than $6M in federal Economic Development grants that created 1700 + jobs in the region. She has also worked as a Social Worker and Administrative Analyst in Imperial, California
