Manage and track purchased parts for large assembly jobs/projects. Manage 100-125 jobs which have between 1 - 1500 individual parts. Work closely with suppliers, storeroom, planners/estimator, production managers, engineers and machinists/assemblymen to ensure all parts are available and/or received by promised date. Maintain job file packing slips and bill of materials. Run various reports and provide condensed information to the Project Manager. Research and resolve issues concerning purchased parts and invoices. Assist in ordering purchased parts when needed. Receive and issue parts to the job when necessary. Responsible for providing and maintaining purchased parts data in the project management workbook reviewed by in-house national and international managers and engineers. This allows for better job estimated assembly and completion times by providing documented communication with suppliers and lead times. Managed National Pitney Bowes account during company software transition and new Category Manager. Worked closely with Supplier Enablement Specialists assisting with suppliers and/or end user related issues. Review and process supplier onboarding process along with maintaining supplier records. Assisted Credit Card Administrator with supplier pending to pay accounts, creating Supplier Payment Accounts (SPA) and assisted in successfully tracking unapproved credit card fees and charges saving the company thousands of dollars.
