In this leadership role, direct all HR programs and functions for a world-class credit union with four locations serving 40,000+ members. ● Lead and coach a results-oriented team in executing HR and talent development programs and initiatives. ● Direct all people development, performance management, compensation and benefits, HR policy development and administration, risk management, and employee relations. ● Foster a positive, collaborative, fair, and fun company culture. ● Design and implement employee engagement/appreciation initiatives.● Identify organizational performance gaps and create and implement solutions.● Mentor leaders on change management and organizational design initiatives; evaluate change impact and acceptance by employees.● Collaborate with management teams on the selection of internal and external talent. ● Create succession plans for leadership roles and lead initiatives to attract, retain, and hire key talent. ● Analyze organizational health and advise management teams on workforce planning. ● Manage full life cycle performance and compensation processes. ● Oversee community engagement opportunities for employees.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS AND CONTRIBUTIONS: ○ Led LAPFCU to become a “Workplace of Choice.”○ Developed remote work tools for employees working from home during COVID-19.○ Overhauled performance management best practices and developed educational resources. ○ Established a world-class total rewards program.○ Launched SPROUT with LAPFCU, a voluntary professional development program.○ Named among the “Best Places to Work” every year since 2008 based on exceptional workplace culture.○ Received Management Associate of the Year Award in 2009 and Meritorious Award in 2013.

Directed HR and Facility Operations for three California divisional offices. Deemed CA HR Expert. (Parent company employed over 6,000 employees nationwide during my tenure.) ● Serve as HRBP to the Executive and broader leadership team. Oversaw HR operations for the Malibu office and provided leadership and direction to local HR Managers in Emeryville, CA and San Jose, CA.● Conducted due diligence for Corporate HR and served as the HR liaison for two acquisitions for the Malibu, CA location. ● Coordinated layoffs during restructuring, downsizing, including creating severance packages, career advice, and exit plans.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:○ Played a key role in the acquisition of Miramar by Intertec Publishing and subsequently by PRIMEDIA Inc. (now known as Source Interlink).○ Led change management to transition to new leadership after acquisition. ○ Promoted 3x during my tenure: HR/Administrative Assistant (1993-1994); HR/Office Administrator (1995-1996); HR Manager (1997-1998); Group HR Manager & Administration (1998-2001)
