About Janet Hader

Working K9's has been a lifetime passion. I have been fortunate to have owned and operated a successful K9 Security company, Western K9 Security, for 10 years.Trained in California in the mid 70's, my 35 + year career has a proven track record in speciality working K9's. Along with my partner, Werner, we operated a full K9 training center offering courses in K9 patrol and K9 detection. Certified detection teams(explosive and narcotic detection) from Obedience Plus training center were the backbone of our security company.I have worked directly with BC Justice Institute in implementing a K9 validation program for working K9's in patrol and detection. This program is the first of its kind in BC and Canada.
