The skills I have acquired over the years have helped me become who I am within my chosen career path. My thoroughness and attention to details have made me an expert in my field. **New skills added, I am in the construction cement industry for 4+ years now. Many jobs we work on in my new position are for The Villages. We build walls beams and posts in an indoor precast arena featuring a new carousel semi-automated circulation plant. Our goal in the near future is to become fully automated.In my old postion we created FDOT foot bridges, road /ramp bridges and bridge beams over water. I am currently certified as an ACI Testing Technician, 346, SCC, Cylinder and Block Compressive Strength testing, PCI I & II, and Laboratory Testing Technician. I am responsible to oversee all of QC related documents and forms set ups, entry of all data including MAC (FDOT) plastic properties and breaks and all of the Lab testing of aggregates.Even though my background and knowledge for many years, approximately 20+, had been automotive related, I have become very knowledgeable and skillful within the Aerospace industry informational database as well. During this time I became Six Sigma Black Belt certified, which is very rewarding. Making changes within a process or processes is an exciting thing to witness as areas become more efficient and produce better quality.Everything new I learn adds to my expertise, and builds a more diverse foundation and backbone for my current career.
