I am a bilingual mental health therapist with 20 years of experience counseling individuals, couples and families. I utilize EFT and EMDR primarily. EFT research shows that 70-75% of couples move from marital distress to recovery and approximately 90% show significant improvements. I see the same results in my practice and regularly see wonderful progress in the couples I work with. In addition, I recognize that trauma is very often a common denominator among my clients so I focus on a holistic approach to treat trauma through EMDR. In my practice I have successfully treated depression, anxiety, marriage difficulties, abuse and trauma, grief and loss, acculturation, PTSD, addictions and children/adolescent's behavioral and emotional issues. I recently started to incorporate Brainspotting to treat a variety of mental health diagnosis. As part of my practice, I also provide Life coaching with an emphasis on personal development, couples relationships and family/parenting special needs coaching.
