Currently studying post-grad in agricultural science, with a focus on livestock and cropping systems. Technically assisting UWA researchers in livestock trials. Encouraging young people to explore the agricultural industry as SNAGS Industry and SAgE Rep. I aim to continue in research and development sectors for agriculture, specifically by to continuing with my postgraduate studies into post-doctorate study, and longer term, research and teaching. I have been active in SNAGS (Students of Natural and Agricultural Sciences) since 2022, gaining invaluable experience running a variety of industry panel nights, networking and social events. As SNAGS Industry Rep. and the student representative for the School of Agriculture and Environment (SAgE), I aim to work between the University, Club and Industry, desiring that students would know exactly how much opportunity is in agriculture and how invaluable it is as an industry. Studying agriculture in highschool, focusing on animal production systems (beef cattle). This also allowed hands on experience in a variety of enterprises; showing, judging and husbandry of sheep, cattle, alpacas, goats, ect. Strong initiative and leadership skills were also evident back then as head girl.
