I started this page to try to offer help to people in their efforts in scrapbooking their family historical photos along with their current family photos. I offer classes at my home or theirs.

I run an alumni website for students and staff who have attended or graduated from one of Rhinebeck Central School system's schools. We share old & new photos, stories, we post obituaries, we amuse each other in many different ways. A few people have re-connected after meeting again on my site and have gotten married. We post photos of Rhinebeck homes where former students have lived so they can see how they look now.......If any readers are former Rhinebeck NY students or staff, please contact me. Prattsville, Ny

Bob and I were interviewing all available property owners in town, we took photos of all significant structures, trying to determine what flood damage the hamlet properties have and we may be later asked to input the data for a town-wide revaluation. It's heartbreaking to see what some people had to live through when hurricane Irene sent torrential flood waters through this tiny valley town. Main Street is practically bare .......50% of the buildings are either gone or condemned. But the surviving buildings were well made and are coming back to life slowly. Way to go, Prattsville!This job involved about 100 entrances and exits by me from the truck every day.....I worked rain or shine (half the time was rain, the other half hot and muggy) I took tons of photo and interviewed people as to the condition of their buildings, how much land they lost due to Irene's flooding.....I've heard a lot of scary stories from flood victims, too. Brave people.In March of 2013 we held hearings for each owner who thought our appraisals were either too high or too low. Yes, some think it's too low. Most had legitimate reasons to lower theirs, a few were just angry people. All in all we were fair and the people were fair to us. Great town, Prattsville.

Ashland, Ny

I fabricated stained glass windows, wall panels and art pieces. I also hand painted commercial signs and produced flyers, posters and business cards. I had some of my work shown at a gallery in Windham, NY. I taught classes in stained glass techniques in the Pratt Museum in Prattsville, NY.
