I am the Unit Supervisor for Preventive Services and Child Care Assistance at Warren County. I hold a NYS Certified School Counselor credential and a Master's Degree in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from The College of Saint Rose. I use my education and skills to provide trauma informed care and support to families and children at risk of foster care placement.Prior to becoming the supervisor, I worked as a Senior Caseworker in charge of four caseworkers. Before that, I spent four and a half years as a Foster Care Caseworker and an Adoption Caseworker and Homefinder at the same organization. I have developed skills in case management, crisis intervention, family engagement, and advocacy, and I have contributed to multiple successful adoptions and foster care placements. My mission is to help families and children overcome challenges and achieve stability and well-being, and I value collaboration, compassion, and diversity in my work. I bring a unique perspective and expertise to my team, as I have a Bachelor's Degree in Women's Studies from Hartwick College and a passion for gender equality and social justice.
