OTC Business Process Expert & SAP PTO and OTC Key User AS BPE ensure that 6 different business groups located in the U.S., business needs are understood and comply with all other business groups throughout the DSM worldwide organization.•Facilitate functions for capturing, documenting, meeting and facilitating all changes in OTC , and ensure business needs match corporate objectives and can function within a harmonized, integrated environment. •Reporting directly to V.P. As Key User help design and develop system to be used in OTC-PTO-FICO-WM-QM models.Help developed, documented and train in all disclipines with a focus on transitioning the Customer Service Team and acting as a change agent for SAp implementation. Directly responsible for project resulting in a 7 million dollar warehouse and distribution center, centralizing 5 outside warehouses.Direct responsibility for all activity in distribution, transportation and warehousing which included a continious packaging and palletizing operation. Throughput was approximately 10K carton/units per day.. Managed 2 on site and 5 off site warehouses and all tolls and terminals that supported main plant. Responsible for managing a total inventory of 44M lbs of finished goods that ships directly to customers and distribution centers. Manage raw material inventory and all materials handling and equipment.Direct interface with S&OP regarding marketing, forecasting customer service, and manufacturing, ensuring logistics and warehousing supports business applications, manufacturing area needs and customer demand.Responsible for customer service from a plant perspective, which includes, analysis and problem solving, on time delivery and customer satisfaction. Directly interface with customers to identify issues, drive resolution and ensure Class A customer service. This was accomplished through customer service programs, customer visits and interfaces with marketing, manufacturing and QA.Managed all 3rd party logistics and warehouse contract and personnel which included a total of 100+ employees and 5 direct Solutia reports.Responsible for contract negotiation, selection and management of carriers for all modes of transportation, ensuring quality performance.Ensured ISO and QS certification for area, which includes procedures, and work instructions, ensuring compliance and continuos improvement.Directly responsible for training and compliance of company, local, state, federal and global regulations and safety guidelines.SAP and legacy system owner, which supported the warehousing, transportation and distribution functional areas, that interfaces with S&OP.
