I've served in various roles within the Greater Omaha Chapter including President, Senior board Member. At the National level I am faculty for the EPI Intensive course and the ASC Intensive course. I also am currently on the Annual Conference Planning Committee.

I work as an Infection Prevention nurse. In 2016 I was promoted to Manager IP/Employee Health. We strive to have best practice in place at all times. I've worked with many staff throughout the hospital to build team responsible to meet Jt. Commission and CMS standards. In my role I'm also responsible for 17 clinics to ensure they are practicing Infection Prevention.

Initially was an Arthritis Coordinator but that position was determined non profitable and then transferred to Infection Prevention in 2003 until I left in November 2008. Was one of two IPs responsible for a 250 acute +150 Psych hospital and several critical care access hospitals and several counties Home Care Services. I entered an IP program that had been vacant for several months and worked to build a solid IP program in central Nebraska.
