Pharmacy practice has been my calling, leading in hospital practice as well as industry, community, and long-term care. My education as a Pharmacist was at the University of Washington in Seattle and a unique Masters program in Chicago including the core curriculum of the MBAprogram, leadership, teamwork and conflict management. The facilities I worked in range from small to intermediate, for-profit and not-for-profit, union and non-union, added 3 clean rooms and a new Pharmacy in a free-standing cancer center. I wrote a grant, presented on Antimicrobial Stewardship for the Washington State Hospital Association, got CME approval for providers through the WSMA and was named Clinical Manager of the year at one hospital. Best of all I get to work with many fine professionals all over the United States!
