My responsibilities include strategically developing and managing multiple Social Enterprises that provide valuable work-based training opportunities for people facing learning disabilities, autism, and mental health challenges.Passionate about enhancing lives and driving positive change for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health issues, I am proactively engaged in delivering direct services to this community. We operate with a staff of 26, of which 22 are actively involved in operational aspects. This allows us to maintain a lean and agile approach, firmly rooted in our grassroots ethos. Our Senior Management Team leads by example, actively participating in projects to ensure seamless delivery and relevance to our mission.At CAN, we have a profound vision—a space where individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental ill-health can realize their full potential, leading happy and fulfilling lives. Our reach extends to over 450 individuals, families, and carers, making us renowned for our innovative practices that offer holistic support to our service users and members. From fostering friendships to providing advocacy, advice, and signposting, we go beyond traditional care.
