I established Gibbon Bridge 29 years ago with my mother. We started with six bedrooms and we now have 30 bedrooms, 23 acres of award winning gardens with al fresco dining areas, a Bandstand registered for civil ceremonies, a restaurant offering fine dining, Victorian Orangery and Cavalier Suite available for private functions and weddings. The hotel has grown organically as the business has developed and along the way I have been able to incorporate into the building gothic stone masonary from a church in Blackburn that was being demolished, and 10 cast iron pillars from the Public Hall in Preston.Specialties: The hotel is still privately owned by myself and I am still very much involved in the day to day operations; it is my home and my aim is to share it with all our guests and ensure that their experience of Gibbon Bridge is the best it can possibly be.
