Managed the introduction of ITIL service management tools and Security Operations Centre to NATS as part of a wider transformation programme to introduce Cloud based operations.A £25m programme, using Service Now as the core toolset, managed a complex programme of development and integration of this tool with Air Traffic Management systems to provide comprehensive control, monitoring, orchestration, change, incident and event management for UK Air traffic Control.Introduced a new SOC with a MSSP to safeguard the operation.

• Managed commercial bid process for 2 key capacity management tools to key customers.• Initiated and planned introduction of an Agile process to accelerate a high profile and customer focused project, Time Based Separation.• Delivered multi million pound benefits to our Airline and Airport customers. Effectively managed customer relations to ensure acceptance of the TBS concept, including HAL, airlines, regulator and European stakeholders as well as internal customers.• Driven forward technical innovation in both TBS and XMAN projects implementing world first improvements in Air Traffic Management technology. Breaking new ground for NATS in terms of process, technology and models in international co-operation.• Multiple industry awards won for TBS and XMAN, APM finalist for Programme of the Year 2015.

• Programme manager for the main aspects of a major software development, over 1m source lines of code, and people change programme in the implementation phase to Factory Acceptance Test completion. • Responsible for £70 million pound budget, multiple projects, customer relations and supplier management, risk management and reporting to board level •Managing and mentoring project managers and planners to deliver multiple dependent systems into operations.

• The ITEC project was part of a £118m International collaboration project to replace NATS Flight Data Processing systems to provide future for NATS evolution into a European leader in the ANSP market.• Whilst in the project definition phase managed a team of 70+ engineers and ATC specialists, coordinating with systems partners to finalise designs and confirm requirements.

• 9.3m project to relocate NATS core Flight Data Processing systems, including one of the most complex computer systems in Europe (NAS, CCDS and SIDE) from West Drayton to Swanwick, maintaining 24 hour operation with zero downtime.• Joined project in the implementation phase, when the project was in some difficulty, successfully delivered all three systems with no operational impact to time and budget.

Completed the requirements definition and the F&O for the Terminal Control Disater Recovery (DR) systems.• Project managed the delivery, to Swanwick, of a number of the key TC systems to Technical Transfer (TT).• Managed the delivery of the first system of 20+ systems to TT on the project
