For more than 16 years, my role as Area Administrator/Office Manager at Insituform Technologies, LLC, has included providing administrative office support for our Carolina region field office and our Charlton, MA field office. I am responsible for everything from making and tracking travel arrangements for office personnel and several construction crews, processing time sheets, conducting new hire orientation, training and HR paperwork, creating subcontracts, invoices and billings, to ordering plans for new job bids for the area Business Development Manager. Insituform is a billion dollar global trench-less sewer rehabilitation company and our crews travel extensively within our Southeast region creating a new infrastructure for clients like Duke Energy Nuclear Power Plant, various military bases, NCDOT, SCDOT and many different municipalities. I am passionate about supporting these crews and also helping with all of their purchasing needs. I have created bonds with our vendors, some of which have grown into friendships, to make sure the crews have what is necessary to complete their tasks. Within the office, I have recreated a more user friendly filing system and found money that had been billed incorrectly allowing our office to collect hundreds of thousands of dollars that was about to be written off as a loss! I have become adept at onboarding new employees, helping them navigate through the new hire training orientation. To help this process, I have developed new hire books, binders and games to give them additional tools to help them transition into their new roles.

My responsibilities as the Public Relations/Fundraising Manager for Cystic Fibrosis Worldwide, Inc., (CFWW), included planning and coordinating fundraising events, designing plan prospectus for CFWW conferences including Power Point presentations. I also wrote and distributed global press releases, provided administrative support to the board of director members and Executive Officer, recorded and transcribed executive board of directors meeting minutes, coordinated Bookkeeper and CPA meetings and correspondences, created and maintained social meeting/internet networking sites, Quick Books maintenance and corresponded with CFWW member countries.

I worked in many different modalities, specializing in Swedish, deep tissue massage, comprehensive back techniques, with advanced certificates in pregnancy massage and reflexology. While working at Simple Indulgence Day Spa, I gained a vast following of clients seeking the treatment plans I offered. It was rewarding to me to know I helped people feel better and to gain perspective into a healthy lifestyle.
