Public librarian with an emphasis on business and entrepreneurial outreach to the local community. Duties include maintaining three monthly business mailings, business programming, serving on the Downtown Association committee, collection development, and speaking to local organizations about the ongoing importance of libraries and library resources.

Paraprofessional position. Duties included teaching classes for public and staff, reference and reader's advisory, collection development, homebound outreach, hosting programs on a wide variety of topics, and assisting with the public summer reading programs while running the staff program.

In conjunction with University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's library science program. Duties included reviewing the Reference collection prior to interfiling it with the circulating collection, selecting materials to be included in the new Elgin Area Collection, writing and co-teaching classes, and working one-on-one with patrons during device assistance drop-in workshops.
