With my background in nursing, I have a solid understanding of anatomy of physiology. Coupled with my education in Holistic Care, I have practical knowledge and experience in the field of preventive medicine. As a nurse and a health coach I am able to bring the best of both worlds to my clients.My medical experience includes Pediatric and Geriatric Nursing. My "holistic" experience includes owning and managing "Dayspring Natural Foods & Cafe" in Warren, PA. and in Olean NY from 1986 through 1989. I practiced as a Nutritional Consultant in PA from 1988 through 2003 while networking with chiropractors, massage therapists, and herbologists in the New York & Pa regions.I also became certified in Iridology, and its application in conjunction with nutritional consultation.I raised nine healthy children which has given me a strong appreciation for the challenges that parenting can bring. My natural inclination is to support and encourage parents in raising healthy kids. In 1997 I created and implemented the program "Growing Healthy Kids" which was used in the mid 90's through the US to educate parents on healthy choices.I have had numerous experiences with helping families successfully deal with children who have been diagnosed with ADD, autism, focus & behaviour problems through a 16 week "Boost for the Brain" Program.I have over 20 years experience in implementing "Personal Wellness Plans" that include environmental toxin reduction, addition of clinically proven nutritional products from Shaklee, and a 4 month coaching program which guides and supports the individual as they make lasting changes.Specialties: Track record of success with kids with ADD, ADHD; School performance challenges.Healthy Pregnancy.
