Leading a team of 52 reporters across the country into a new digital era, resulted in a more highly skilled workforce, a national restructure and new revenue for the business. I implemented a multi-million dollar content partnership with REA (realestate.com.au) and transformed a print-centric team into a digital powerhouse. Digital results consistently exceeded contractual targets as we delivered the most authoritative and comprehensive coverage of property markets across the country.

As State editor, I built an exceptional reporting team by integrating community and metro editorial teams and introducing intensive data journalism training.I launched the Daily Telegraph Saturday gloss real estate guide, generating new business and attracting readership gains in key reader segments. The Sunday Telegraph property guide was rejuvenated with a new content strategy and the recruitment of two high profile Sydney property journalists.

In 2011-2012, NewsLocal published 22 titles and real estate was the major revenue driver. As part of the Group's rejuvenation process, I transformed a group of commercial writers into a news reporting team and implemented a new content and brand strategy. This was based on market insights and news our consumers could use as they transacted in local property markets. Readership of the real estate sections increased by 30% in the first year post-rejuvenation.
