In 24 months, she completed 21 integrations across 18 deals - coast to coast - while building the integration capability from scratch and leveraging various technologies to allow for fast-paced growth and realization of all potential synergies. In this same period, the company tripled in size and navigated a PE ownership change.Janet's specialties include strategy development; P&L management; building processes, systems and infrastructure for fast paced growth; building trust; ensuring client satisfaction (both internal and external); building high performing teams; negotiating contracts; estimating; vendor management; proposal writing; marketing/sales; field management and route optimization; overseeing union and open shop crews; cost management and tight fiscal oversight. Very quickly, Altair grew its private commercial and residential construction business to include high profile projects for NAASR, CubeSmart and the Archidiocese of Boston. Prior to Altair, Janet owned Security Construction Services, where she grew the government contracting business to be ranked as the 4th fastest-growing business in MA and the 24th largest construction company in the state. The company was also honored as the region's Small Business Contractor of the Year by the SBA.Janet holds her MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BA with honors from Colby College.
