My involvement as an occupational therapist includes many years as a front-line practitioner, manager, author, educator and former Executive Director for the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. I am deeply interested in exploring how to improve health systems in Canada to be more sustainable (addressing environmental integrity, economic inclusion and social justice). I have over 30 publications, including first-authored, peer reviewed papers; book chapters and invited guest editorials. I have experience in association management, project management, strategic planning, government relations and public policy, including presenting to Members of Parliament and senior bureaucrats.
