I've been fortunate to work with some of the country's best-loved food brands and support farmers and fishermen, including the iconic got milk? milk mustache campaign. I've been a leader in the convergence of social media and nutrition, and have given numerous presentations on how RDs can showcase their services and build their brand in today's digital age. I'm the co-author of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' practice paper on social media, have written other articles for the Journal of Nutrition and Dietetics on social media ethics, and was awarded the Academy's Media Excellence Award. As a former national media spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, I've been a frequent guest on TV, including Today, Good Morning America, CNN and other outlets. I created the blog NutritionUnplugged.com, co-founded HealthyAperture.com and NutritionBlogNetwork.com (all retired now).
