CurrentMy Role as an experienced loan originator has involved all of the following duties and responsibilities:Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and product type for mortgage loans.Evaluate loan applications and supporting documentation to determine credit worthiness.Identify and recommend products for each consumer's needs that meet lending guidelines.Collect all documentation needed for the underwriter to decision the file.Meet all company guidelines and compliance requirements.Remain the point of contact for the borrower throughout the entire loan processProvide top level customer service to each unique borrower.Prospect for new clients and maintain existing relationships to continually grow my personal book of business.Retain a mastery of all systems and processes required by each company to ensure ease of the loan process through closing.Promote a team environment by keeping a positive attitude.Mentor junior loan originators and other employees with less industry experience.
