Janet Ho is a Chief Operating Officer @ Hume at Hume AI. Colleagues describe her as "Janet is a product whiz with the vocabulary and sharp wit to corroborate my first impression of her. My recruiter left the note, "you'll love her," and in our summer together, I think we both learned tremendously from each other's product marketing strengths and shared academic interests. In launching Rakuten's first cloud platform, Janet streamlined two dozen startups, relationships, and product maps to fit a coherent product suite and content marketing schedule. She was overly enthusiastic to take on more work, which easily came by the firehose: price benchmarking to monetize our internal solutions, readying client meetings with little or no notice, and making sure the trains ran on time on our PoCs. Janet is definitely not a shy person and can hold her own in front of founders, C-levels, and work colleagues. As her boss, I've found myself giving her the floor, because her arguments just made sense. Her strength is in pursuing the logical calculus to solve problems quickly and offering the esoteric knowledge she somehow read while multitasking in an Uber. On a personal level, Janet never hesitates to help her teammates or me, on any matter large or small. That's someone you really would love to be friends and have as a co-worker.
