MRA celebrates it's 117th anniversary as a not-for-profit employer's association serving over 4,000 employers with nearly half a million employees. As an instructor with MRA's Institute of Management, I facilitate the Principles of Leadership Excellence series, Frontline Leader series, and Customer Service Excellence series. I also design and develop tailored onsite classes and lead a variety of additional classes with focus on communication, service, and performance improvement classes. I am a consultant trainer for Health Communications, Inc, which provides the TIPS intervention program for responsible alcohol service. As a Master Trainer, I have facilitated Train-the-Trainer classes and server classes. I also facilitated responsible alcohol classes for Levy Restaurants sports venues (Churchill Downs, Xcel Energy Center, Bradley Center, Wisconsin Center District, Harley Museum, etc.) through the National Restaurant Association.Other hospitality-related workshops with a focus on customer service, complaint resolution, leadership, and more, are available through my work at MRA to meet client needs.I became a TIPS trainer in 1999, and then a Master Trainer in 2007

In my role as Past President, I worked with the President and President Elect to run a smooth chapter and pass on knowledge. It was an exciting year. In addition to our routine operations and professional development programs, we went through a search and hiring process for a new association management company, created our own website on the Wild Apricot platform, were recognized by National ATD as Chapter of the Month and SOS award, and identified some quality individuals to bring in as volunteers and for leadership roles. It was a privilege to work with the board, volunteers, and members for another great SEWI-ATD year.
