I have joined Intercept in July 2023, as VP of Program Excellence, reporting to our President R&D/Chief Medical Officer. Intercept is focused on rare and serious liver diseases. I will be supporting our portfolio, leading efforts to advance our programs through regulatory approval, working with all our programs leaders and their teams, and line managing the PMO. My new responsibilities will include designing and implementing key cross-company processes to deliver goals and advance our business strategy. I joined Intercept after leaving my position as VP Business Planning and Processes at Precision BioSciences, where I had served for 3.5 years, working with a talented and dedicated team. I'd gained valuable experience in developing a governance model, leading a quality project to enhance our R&D requirements, and creating a PMO to support assets as well as business initiatives.My move to Precision in 2019 took place after my retirement and departure from GSK after 28 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Drug Development processes and Project Management in 5 different business functions: Pharmaceutical Development, Manufacturing, Project Management, Business Development, and Regulatory. My MBA, PMP, and lean six-sigma experience contributes to the many processes, techniques, and standards required to work in our regulated industry.
